Diarrhea

Occasional diarrhea is usually no big deal. A day with one or two mushy stools (but not watery) can be normal. If your child has one episode of true diarrhea without any other symptoms, it likely just means something didn’t agree with them. Acute diarrhea typically lasts 1-3 days before it clears up. However, if it lasts more than 3 days, or is accompanied by fever, vomiting, or blood, it's time to see a doctor. The good news is, there are plenty of natural ways to treat diarrhea, and this protocol (linked above) is both effective and budget-friendly!

Keep an Eye on Symptoms:

If symptoms last more than 48-72 hours, it’s time to call the doctor.

Check hydration: Is your child eating, drinking, and peeing?

Any changes in mood or behavior? And is there a fever?

What’s Likely Going On:

It’s usually a stomach bug or something like spoiled food.

Focus on Hydration & Electrolytes:

Keeping them hydrated and balanced is key for recovery!

Consider Allergies:

If symptoms hang around or get worse, check for possible allergies.

I personally always keep a bottle of the G.I. Detox in our ‘Medicine Cabinet’ because its so effective (and gentle) for a spectrum of health challenges in both kids and adults!
